Cosmology

THE UNIVERSE IN THREE STEPS

The Universe is a very large and beautifully designed complex entity.  Man has been wondering about his place in the grand scheme of things his entire existence.  Scientists think that the universe has expanded to 93 billion light-years in diameter.

“Thus says God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which comes out of it; he that gives breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein.”  Isaiah 42:5

“When I consider the heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained: What is man, that thou art mindful of him? And the son of man, that thou visits him?”  Psalm 8:3,4

The Biblical account of creation should be taken seriously, as only an all-knowing God could have compared the number of stars to the number of grains of sand on the seashore in 2,000 BC. This was God speaking to Abraham in Genesis 22:17.  There are only about 5,000 stars visible to the naked eye in the sky, but 10 to the 18th power of grains of sand.

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”   Genesis 1:1

“Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.”  Hebrews 11:3

The creation of the universe is neither observable nor repeatable, as only God was present when He spoke “the worlds” into existence.

1)  THE EARTH

We see that the Earth has preeminence among all the celestial objects, being named in the first verse of the Bible.  This is the center of God’s plan, and Mankind is the focus of all His creation.  This is proven by the visitation of the Creator Himself to this planet as a Man, in the person of Yeshua, Jesus the Messiah, two-thousand years ago.  The earth truly is the most important place in the universe, for this is where God was crucified, resurrected, and He will return to set-up his ‘house’ in the temple in Israel for one-thousand years.

In the Genesis account of creation, we have Light on the First Day, the separation of waters with the atmosphere on the Second Day, and by the Third Day, the Earth has oceans and dry land with vegetation and fruit trees.  The earth is prepared for living things through the air, in the sea, and on dry land.

The earth contains a great amount of water, (H2O), in its oceans, soil, and atmosphere.  The mass of the Earth’s crust is 60% Silica, (SiO2), which is the main constituent of 90% of the known rocks.  We will encounter these same materials in the creation of the Stars.

“Mine hand also has laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand has spanned the heavens.”  Isaiah 48:13

The earth, though small compared to the other planets and stars, is the foundation from which the rest of the universe is made.  The ‘worlds’ begin with the Earth, then extends to the Solar System, and finally to ‘the Stars also’.

2)  THE SOLAR SYSTEM

The Earth was firmly established before the creation of the Sun, Moon, and Stars.  On the Fourth Day, “God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.”  Genesis 1:16

From this verse we can see God creating in a two-step process.  First, there is the Solar System, with the Sun at its center and its orbiting moons and planets.  Second, we observe that “he made the stars also,” as a magnificent backdrop to the Earth and the Solar System.  God separated the earth and planets from the creation of the stars by the Heliosphere, a protective shield formed by the plasma gases emanating from the Sun itself.  This shield currently extends to about 11 billion miles.  The Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 space probes passed through this zone in 2012 and 2018.  A relevant verse is found in Psalm 84:11, “For the LORD God is a sun and shield.”

“And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light upon the earth.”  Genesis 1:14,15

We can see that the normal measure of time was already in use, so the 24 hour day was from the beginning.  Whenever the Bible says evening and morning, and numbers the days in consecutive order, this always means a 24 hour day. For the stars to fulfill their purpose, their light had to reach the earth in one day.  This would simply require the stars to be created “one light-day” away, or less than 16 billion miles.  Now only the nearest and brightest stars had to ignite their nuclear fuel on the fourth day.  The star masses were created, but the full illumination of their hydrogen centers could have been reserved for a later time.

3)  THE STARS AND GALAXIES

The stars and galaxies were formed after the Earth and the Solar System, with its protective Heliosphere extending almost one light-day distance.  This Heliosphere protects the Earth and the other planets against the high energy cosmic rays of nearby stars and supernovas.  The Heliosphere possesses an irregular shape due to its movement through the ISM, the Interstellar Medium.  But before the stars were created, the Heliosphere had a perfect spherical shape.

Since the great mass of stars were formed near the Solar System, there was a large time dilation according to Einstein’s Theory of Relativity.  The Earth experienced only six regular 24 hour days, while the stars and galaxies registered 13.7 billion years.  This same time dilation is experienced on the earth today, with the clocks at Greenwich England running slower than the atomic clock at the mile high location in Denver, Colorado.  The clocks in Greenwich are closer to the center of mass of the earth, therefore time measures more slowly.

Because of Einstein’s formula, E=MC2, the inertia of any system keeps it from traveling faster than the speed of light. It would require infinite energy.  But it has been determined that ‘space’ itself can expand faster than light.  This accounts for the fact that the Universe stretched out to 13.7 billion light-years, while the Earth and the Solar System maintained a radius of only 11 billion miles.

“My hands have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.” Isaiah 45:12

Now the interesting phenomenon is that the current astronomical theory on the origin of star formation is from very cold Giant Molecular Clouds (GMC) in our Galaxy.  These clouds can be as low as 6 degrees Kelvin, close to the ambient temperature of the Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation, 2.725 degrees Kelvin.

This is extremely cold, minus 455 degrees Fahrenheit.  Absolute zero Kelvin is minus 459.67 degrees Fahrenheit, or minus 273.15 degrees Celsius, it cannot get any colder than this temperature.

The stars were formed by the same process at the edge of the Heliosphere when God spoke them into existence.  Hydrogen ice would have been present at these temperatures, accounting for the Cosmic  Microwave Background Radiation in every direction.  The 6 degree Kelvin Hydrogen Ice would only have to cool to 2.725 degrees Kelvin, when space expanded as the stars were formed.  Since the cold Hydrogen Ice was from a perfect sphere, its radiation outward was uniform in every direction.  This is the true source of the 2.725 degree Kelvin Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation (CMBR).

There is no need for the Big Bang Theory of creation.

The Creation of the stars, was not from:

A. Hot, 100 trillion degrees Kelvin particles

B. Far away, though it has expanded to 93 Billion Light-years in diameter

C. Long ago, though through time dilation has aged 13.7 Billion years

D. A point of infinite density

E. Impersonal matter in extreme disorder

F. An explanation where the actual origin of all these forces and energy is still unknown.

The Creation of the stars was from:

A. Cold, 6 degree Kelvin Molecular Clouds of Hydrogen Ice as it is today

B. Close, at the edge of the very round Heliosphere only 11 billion miles away, less than one light-day distance.

C. Recent, about 6,000 years ago according to the Biblical genealogy in Luke 3:23-38

D. An infinite God of creativity who is all knowing and all powerful

E. A Personal God who is able to oversee the entire universe: past, present and future, and count each star by name

F. An explanation of actual origins from a source that is able to create the Universe

The Bible predicts the creation of the stars from a very cold source in Job 38:29-32,

“Out of whose womb came the ice? And the hoary frost of the heaven, who has gendered it?  The waters are hid as with a stone, and the face of the deep is frozen.

Can thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?

Can thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? “(the twelve constellations of the zodiac)

The same Hebrew word is used to describe the ‘ice coming out of the womb’, and the ‘bringing forth of the twelve constellations’: Yatsar, Strongs reference H3318.

There is no coincidence that Job speaks of the frozen deep and in the very next sentence tells of the bands of Orion.  The Orion Nebula contains the classic cold Giant Molecular Clouds where star formation is happening right now.

In addition, these very cold Molecular Clouds of gas and dust that form the stars, contain the same chemical elements that originate on the Earth.  The earth did not come from billions of years of nucleosynthesis in stars, but the stars come from elements that are of the earth: Water and Silica.  The Bible describes an abundance of water (H20) in the first few days of creation, and Silica (SiO2) is the main substance of sand and rocks in the earth’s crust.  In star formation, the gas is the Hydrogen molecule (H2) and the dust is mostly Silica (SiO2).  Water (H2O) can break into H2 and O2 molecules through an electric charge.  The Silica dust particles are SiO2, which aid in the gravitational clumping of H2 molecules, the most abundant element which forms the stars. All of this begins in 6-degree Kelvin Giant Molecular Clouds of star forming regions. But the water and Silica molecules originated on the earth and in the solar system.  It is the exact opposite of the proposed Big Bang Theory and Evolutionary Cosmology. It follows the Bible, with the Earth first, the Solar System second, and the Stars third in the order of creation.

At the edge of the Solar System is the Kuiper belt, a donut-shaped region that contains the icy objects far from the warmth of the Sun.  Here we find Pluto, now demoted to a dwarf planet, about 4 billion miles distance and minus 400 degrees Fahrenheit.  There are tens of thousands of these very cold objects, along with comets, known as dirty snowballs.  These may be the remnants of the stars that formed from the Molecular Clouds and Hydrogen Ice at minus 455 degrees Fahrenheit.  Nasa’s New Horizons spacecraft flew by Pluto on July 14, 2015, and now continues into the cold distant regions of the Kuiper Belt.

In October of 2017, the Pan-STARRS 1 telescope in Hawaii discovered the first interstellar object to enter our Solar System.  It was named ‘Oumuamua’, the Hawaiian name for ‘scout’.  It had no regular comet activity, and accelerated as it left the Solar System in an extrasolar trajectory.  Two Yale astrophysicists, Seligman and Laughlin, proposed that the object was a Hydrogen Iceberg coming from the heart of giant molecular clouds.  The Hydrogen Ice sublimates at 6 degrees Kelvin, turning directly from a solid to a gas.  The main argument against this theory is that it would dissipate making the 100 million year journey from the molecular clouds.  This only reinforces the idea that it was recent and only had to travel for 6,000 years.

The new Webb telescope is extra sensitive in the infrared region of the spectrum, chiefly because it has “reached its final operating temperature below 7 kelvins (minus 447 degrees Fahrenheit, or minus 266 degrees Celsius). “ This telescope is designed to look deeper into the cosmos than the Hubble Space Telescope, into the birthplace of the stars. The science is dealing with extremely cold temperatures to discover the origin of the stars.

CONCLUSION

The God of the Bible was the only one there at the creation of the Heavens and the Earth.  God spoke the worlds into existence by His power of design and creativity, out of nothing.  All of the unique aspects of creation prove God’s order of events: (1) from the importance of the Earth as the only place in the Universe for God, Man, and life itself,  (2) to the Heliosphere as a protective shield around the Solar System comprised of the Greater and Lesser lights, and (3) finally to the Stars forming within the frozen 6 degree Kelvin Molecular Clouds emanating from the edge of the Heliosphere, less than one light-day distance.

“The Heavens declare the Glory of God.”  Psalm 19:1

“The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, says the LORD, which stretches forth the heavens, and lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him.”  Zechariah 12:1

This is the true complete Cosmology of the Universe. It begins with the identification of the only true God, the God of Israel.  He stretched out the heavens, established the earth, and spoke to the spirit of man.  This is why God became a man in the person of Yeshua, Jesus the Messiah, and visited this earth 2,000 years ago.  The heavens and the earth were created for mankind, whom God loved and died for, so we could experience the New Heavens and the New Earth in paradise forever.

We are not waiting for the end of the Big Bang Theory, which is the ‘Heat Death’.  People believe in the Big Bang for the beginning, but no one wants the end of the Big Bang: cold, dark, motionless, and meaningless forever.

Will you receive God’s love and forgiveness and live forever in the Light of Yeshua, Jesus the Messiah?
